I recently, took a short but refreshing trip to Alibaug with a group of 10–12 friends, and it turned out to be one of those effortlessly joyful getaways that reminds you how healing good company (and good views) can be.

🚢 Getting There: Smooth Sailing with M2M Ferry

We took the M2M ferry from Mazgaon Port in Mumbai, which made the entire journey feel seamless and easy.
It’s just a 50-minute ride, and honestly, the view of the coastline as we left the city behind was the perfect start.

Once we reached Alibaug, we took a quick pit stop for lunch at the port itself, it has great restaurants and then it was a quick 10-minute drive to our stay — no traffic, no chaos. Just flow.

🏡 Where We Stayed: Blu Horizon Villa by Stay Vista 

We checked into a gorgeous property called Blu Horizon, managed by Stay Vista — and wow, it was the ideal setup for a big group.

Here’s what stood out:

• A spacious 3-floor villa that gave everyone breathing room

• A private pool perfect for late-night swims and daytime lounging

• A well-equipped game room (because what’s a group trip without a little friendly competition?)

• A super kind and helpful housekeeper, who made everything smoother

  

• And the view? Unbelievable — with the sea and Mumbai skyline right in sight 🌊

It felt private, open, and elevated — literally and figuratively. And the vibe? Chill, easy, and absolutely Instagram-worthy.

For a big group like ours, the cost split was surprisingly affordable.
Blu Horizon is budget-friendly when shared, and the ferry is well-priced and reliable.
It was the kind of trip that didn’t require over-planning or overspending — just good coordination and a willingness to unplug for a bit.

🛶 Back Home: A Full Heart in Under 48 Hours

We returned to Mumbai the next morning via M2M again — rested, a little sun-kissed, and full of stories.
